Tour Itinerary (Starting Point: Andros Town) :
Starting from Andros town,we first reach Apikia village, with the famous Sariza Afterwards, we enjoy an easy small hike to Pythara waterfalls. Our next stop is Saint Irene’s Monastery that also houses 4 museums. We continue our route to Batsi, passing through the verdant villages of Vourkoti, Arni, Remata and Katakilos. As we reach our destination, there is plenty of time to explore Batsi town, relax and have lunch. Heading back, we pass through the village of Palaiopolis, enjoying the views to the ancient settlement and harbour of Palaiopolis. At Pitrofos village, we visit the award-winning Olive Oil museum. Our final stop is Menites, with the impressive lion head springs
Tour Itinerary (Starting Point: Gavrio Port/ Batsi Town) :
Starting from Gavrio Port/ Batsi town, we take the road that crosses the inland and passes through the verdant villages of Katakoilos, Arni, Remata and Vourkoti. Our first stop would be the monastery of Saint Irene that also houses 4 museums. Next stop is Sariza Spring and then it’s time for a small and easy hike to Pythara Waterfalls. As we continue to our destination, the first views of Andros town begin to show. Andros Town, or Hora for the locals, is built on a narrow peninsula, between two beautiful beaches. Free time to explore the city and have lunch. On our way back to Batsi Town/ Gavrio Port, we stop in Menites, the green and luscious village, famous for its lion head water springs. Next stop is in Pitrofos Village, where we visit the Olive Oil museum.

- This tour is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. You have to be able to walk approximately 1/2 hour, at a slow pace, on uneven surfaces and steps
- Children can book when accompanied by an adult
- Short walk to Pythara waterfalls walking time around 20 minutes (optional)

You can make a booking with us literally at the last minute! However, keep in mind that there may be no seats left on the tour if you do that! We recommend booking at least one week in advance, in order to have the best chances of finding availability.
