A FANTASTIC WAY OUT TO THE HEART OF ANDROS.
We recommend this tour for those who are short of time and want to get a great taste of Andros.
A magnificent half-day tour, starting from Chora Town and crossing the island’s inland, from the eastern to the northern part and then to the west. See the highlights of this wonderful island, from stunning natural landscapes and important sights to picturesque villages. Learn about the history, the culture and the local tradition.
Explore Batsi Town – the cosmopolitan area of Andros. Discover the charm of this little traditional seaside village, with the neoclassical architecture and the red tiled houses that spread amphitheatrically around the bay. Take a walk to the small labyrinth of narrow Cycladic streets or enjoy the sandy, large and organized beach.
Free time for lunch.
On our way back from this half-day sightseeing tour we visit the Olive Oil Museum, a little treasure on the island of Andros! It is the best preserved animal powered old olive mill in the island. The mill was restored and transformed into museum. The visit is guided by its passionate owner, who will guide and initiate you to the old traditional techniques of olive oil production. An experience to remember!
