Arrival day and check-in at the hotel. Enjoy the Greek hospitality. Welcome drinks and Greek ”mezes”. Briefing about the itinerary and introduction to the basic principles of the recipes that we cook together. Light dinner in the hotel’s garden.
Simple pure flavors. The morning is free for you to relax or explore the area. We meet in the evening for our first cooking class and dinner in the hotel’s garden.
Longevity and wellness. After breakfast we visit the Olive Oil Museum. Back to the hotel for our cooking class and lunch.
Local dishes. After breakfast we take a short hike. Evening cooking class and dinner in the hotel’s garden.
After breakfast we go to the sheepfolds of Giannisseo to take part in the production of cheese. The cooking class takes part outdoors and we lunch under the shade of trees.
Seafood. After breakfast we go to the land fields of Korthi. There we collect herbs, like oregano, capers or sea fennel and we learn how to dry and store them. Return to a Greek tavern to have lunch using the collected herbs in fresh salads.
Fruit and sugar. After breakfast, we go to a nearby field to collect fruit. Our cooking session today is learning how to prepare the famous Greek ”spoon sweets ”.
Now it’s your turn to cook! Pick one of your favorite dishes presented, go to the local market to get necessary ingredients and prepare the menu for our last dinner. Dinner Party!
Insurance: Participants should be covered by their own personal travel-health insurance prior to the trip. The personal insurance must at least cover medical expenses as well as air rescue and the cost of repatriation.

Transportation: We travel by minivan, bus Taxi, that leaves while we walk and continues to the next place where we stay for the night.
Accommodation: We stay in hotels in the main towns (all with private facilities).
The tour prices are based on double occupancy with breakfast.
Food: Every morning we have breakfast, picnic lunch en route and lunch or dinner, if included in your program. (Vegetarians are welcome on our tours. Ask for the special diet menu)
